Nebulizers

Nebulizers

SPRAY DEVICES

Wide Range of Personalized Surgical Procedures

Nebulizers were designed to provide precise, controlled, and uniform application of Glubran® 2 in laparotomic, laparoscopic, and thoracoscopic procedures. They allow surgeons to cover both small and large surfaces with a thin film of Glubran® 2, ensuring optimal performance, thanks to an autonomous gas propulsion system.

These nebulizer devices help overcome the challenges of applying Glubran® 2 in difficult-to-access or confined areas.

Some examples of applications include parenchymal resections, reinforcement of suture lines, or, in breast surgery, reducing the risk of postoperative seroma and/or lymphatic leakage.

No external connections required

Nebulizers do not need operating room air connections or CO₂ cylinders, as they feature an autonomous propulsion system, making them practical and ready to use immediately.

Safe and biocompatible propellant

The inert gas used for nebulization is non-toxic and biocompatible, with up to 8 minutes of continuous spray.

Constant and controlled pressure

The spray maintains stable pressure with no risk of gas embolism.

Spray diameter

One of the key differences between nebulizer models is the spray diameter, designed to suit different surgical needs: 1 cm for covering small surfaces and up to 4 cm for larger areas with Glubran® 2

Features & Benefits

  • These disposable devices come in double sterile packaging and feature an autonomous gas propulsion system, providing ease of use, reliability, and maximum safety in the operating room. All of them are independent single-use systems.
  • Different models are designed to meet specific surgical needs:
    1. Standard models cover large surfaces, ideal for extensive haemostatic and sealing applications.
    2. Small/Mini models reach confined or hard-to-access areas, allowing precise haemostasis, aerostasis, and the reinforcement of suture lines even in challenging spaces.
  • With all models, surgeons can achieve optimal Glubran 2 distribution, effective haemostasis, and secure sealing, ensuring confidence in every procedure.
