Building the Perfect Embolization
Glubran® 2: immediate and lasting effectiveness in Vascular Occlusion
Glubran® 2 is a liquid embolic agent designed for use in interventional radiology and endovascular procedures. When injected into a blood vessel, it polymerizes upon contact with blood, forming a solid cast that firmly adheres to the vessel walls. This process ensures a complete and permanent vascular occlusion, with no risk of recanalization, delivering results comparable to surgical ligation. To perform an effective embolization, Glubran® 2 must be diluted with a contrast medium. This delays polymerization time and makes the product radiopaque, enabling precise monitoring and controlled release during the procedure.
Thanks to its excellent penetration capabilities, it is effective even for distal and highly peripheral vascular targets, offering physicians a reliable and versatile solution.
